A near head-on collision Wednesday night resulted in four people being injured and taken to an area hospital. The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Gallia Street and Kendall Avenue, and involved a vehicle driven by Mollie Stewart, 17, of West Portsmouth; a second vehicle operated by Brooklyn Bradley, 16, of Portsmouth and a third driven by Thomas Wilburn, 39, of Portsmouth.

Transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center by Portsmouth Ambulance were Mollie Stewart and a passenger in her car, Cathy McClary, 23, of Otway, Brooklyn Bradley, and a passenger in her car, Baleigh Bradley, 14, of Portsmouth. SOMC officials report all four were treated and released.

Captain Jerry Leach of the Portsmouth Police Department said Brooklyn Bradley was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn.
