Michelle Blankenship


Michelle Blankenship, 29, of Danville, Indiana, formerly of McDermott, died Saturday, June 23, 2013, at her residence.


She was born Oct. 18, 1983, in Columbus, a daughter of Rodney Blankenship of McDermott and the late Edith Wright.


She was a manager of Hardees Restaurant in Danville and a 2002 Northwest High School graduate.


She is survived by her stepmother, Karen Cable Blankenship of McDermott; her fiance Justin Thomson; three daughters, Hailey Faith Thomson, Olivia Hope Thomson, and Gabrielle Love Thomson, all at home; three brothers, Shannon (Laura) Wright of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Rodney Blankenship Jr. of Chillicothe, and Nick (Mallory) Blankenship of Lucasville; and one sister, Tara (Israel) Brady of Friendship; her grandparents, Carl and Mary Copas of Lucasville, and Ruth Robinson of McDermott; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.


She was also preceded in death by one brother, Alexander Blankenship.


Graveside services will be held 2:15 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013, in Scioto Burial Park with Josh Powell officiating. Friends may call Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
