Ohio Republican Party (ORP) Chairman Bob Bennett swore in Kay Reynolds of the Scioto County Republican Party as the new Vice Chairman of the Ohio Republican Party, at the ORP headquarters in Columbus Wednesday.
“I’m thrilled to receive this honor,” Reynolds said. “I’m also anxious to get to work and help Republican candidates win up and down the ticket.”
Reynolds was elected by the State Central and Executive Committee of Ohio on April 26 and will serve for two years.
“I am proud to have Kay as our new vice chair and am certain she will serve our party with the same leadership, commitment to hard work and success that she has shown in southern Ohio,” Bennett said.
She is the former Co-Chairman of the Scioto County Republican Party, a small business owner and also maintains a working farm in Scioto County.
“Kay has an incredible story to tell,” Chairman-Elect Matt Borges said. “She was able to help elect the first countywide Republican office holders in 30 years in Ted Strickland and Vern Riffe’s backyard of Scioto County. I look forward to serving with her and making tremendous Republican gains together in the years to come.”
