Cletus Marshall, 74


Cletus “Jesse James” Marshall, 74, of Wheelersburg, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at SOMC Hospice. He was born March 10, 1939, in Salyersville, Ky. to the late Albert and Goldie Blair Marshall. He was a Navy veteran, operated heavy equipment and drove a truck. Along with his parents Cletus was preceded in death by a son William Thomas Marshall, a brother and two sisters.


Cletus is survived by his wife Clorine Howard Marshall who he married on June 3, 1967, a son Cletus Marshall, Jr., “JR” of Latham, six daughters; Cindy Riggs and Rita Lipscomb both of Union City, Mich., Vicky Penwell of Latham, Ann Gillenwater of Beaver, Lisa Marshall of Waverly and Christina Marshall of Wheelersburg. He is also survived by one brother, four sisters and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.


Funeral services will be at noon Monday, May 6, 2013, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Peter Michael officiating and internment in Old Wheelersburg Cemetery.
