Brenda Horner 64


Brenda Kay Horner, 64, of Wheelersburg died April 25, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born Nov. 25, 1948, in Portsmouth to the late Charles James McGue and Venetia Mae (Jackson) McGue. She was a former nurses aid for Portsmouth Receiving Hospital.


She is survived by her husband, Mike Horner whom she married Oct. 9, 1982, in Franklin Furnace. Also surviving are two sons, Tim (Shanna) Cox and Mark Cox, one daughter, Debby Doss, two sisters, Barbara Skaggs and Connie Taylor and eight grandchildren, Tiffany Cape, Aleigha Pruitt, Jase Cox, Mark Eugene Cox, Jared Doss, Josie Doss, Gabe Doss and Joey Doss.


Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the HARRISON -PYLES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Lynn Wessel officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
