A Portsmouth woman and a juvenile have been arrested by Scioto County Sheriff’s detectives. Arrested were Pamela K. Nylund, 42, of 660 Dunlap Road and a teenager of the same address. Nylund has been charged with two counts of receiving stolen property a felony of the fourth degree.

Nylund is being held on a $10,000 bond and will appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court today (Friday). The 17-year-old juvenile has been sent to a juvenile detention center in Chillicothe pending a court appearance.

Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said his office has been actively working several cases involving stolen four-wheelers and dirt bikes throughout the county. It is that investigation that led to the arrests.

Donini said it is an ongoing investigation which could result in more charges being presented to the Scioto County grand jury at a later date.

He said anyone with any information concerning this theft is being requested to contact Detective Denver Triggs at 740-351-1093. All calls will remain anonymous.
