Lloyd Martin Jr., 65


Lloyd Franklin Martin Jr. “Butch,” 65, of Portsmouth, formerly of West Portsmouth, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at his home. He was born March 14, 1948, in Portsmouth to the late Lloyd Franklin Martin and Virginia Smith Martin of Portsmouth. Butch was a long time member of Rehoboth Mission Church in West Portsmouth. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his wife Belle Sawyer Martin who he married on Dec. 10, 1978, in West Portsmouth, two brothers; Paul Edward Martin and Roby Gene Martin.


Along with his mother Virginia, Butch is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.


Funeral services will be 2 p.m.Thursday, April 18, 2013, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with David Lute officiating and interment in Larkin Cemetery.
