Host Valley kept pace in the SOC II standings Friday night with a 58-48 home win over South Webster.


Hayden Dunn’s 19 points and five rebounds led the Indians attack as Valley had eight players crack the scoring column. Bryan Rolfe finished with six assists in the win.


Levi Cook led a trio of Jeeps in double figures as he finished with a game-high 13. Seth Goddard added a dozen and Jensen Dyer chipped in with 11 in the loss.


The Indians travel Saturday night to Wheelersburg to make up an earlier-postponed game. South Webster goes to Minford Monday to make up an SOC II game.

Austin McBee’s game-high 22 points along with a dozen each from Zach Farrar and Kenton Gullion helped visiting Minford take a 72-52 decision at West to stay in a second-place tie in the SOC II with Valley.

Zach Bolton led the Senators with 16 while Michael Hafer added 14 points and nine rebounds. Farrar finished with 10 rebounds while Gullion had eight.

The Falcons host South Webster Monday night. West goes to Eastern Saturday night.
