Richard Dunham, 67


Richard E. Dunham, 67, of West Portsmouth, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. He was born July 30,1945, to Gardner Dunham and the late Leona Morris Dunham. Richard was a veteran of the U.S Navy and was a former Technician for Time Warner Cable.


Richard is survived by his wife, Terri Dunham, four sons, Rick Dunham Jr. (Ramona) of West Portsmouth, Jason Dunham (Melissa) of McDermott, Justin Dunham (Holli) of Lucasville, and Stephen Dunham of Ashland, KY, a daughter, Jessica Dunham of Ashland, Ky., two step-children, Diana Slone and Stevi Tomlin, both of Lucasville. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Blake, Hunter, and Laiken Dunham, Candice and Jesse Wilson, and Nolan Daniels, a brother, David Dunham and three sisters, Donna Riehl, Kay “Susie” Hill, and Kathleen Davis.


In addition to his mother, Richard was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Wilson, a grandson, Jordan Dunham, and a sister, Cindy Riley.


Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Melcher Funeral Home in Portsmouth. Interment will follow at Scioto Burial Park in Rushtown with military graveside rites provided by the American Legion, James Dickey Post #23. Friends may call at Melcher Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until time of service.
