Juanita Ferguson, 85


Juanita Ferguson, 85, of Wheelersburg, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at the home of her daughter. Born on Sept. 30, 1927, in Elliott County, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Ballard and Verna Skaggs Hay. Juanita was a proud member of the Berean Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jennings H. Ferguson, a daughter, Carol Sue Ferguson, and four brothers, Kenneth, Denny, David, and James Hay.


Surviving are five daughters, Brenda (Jim) Preston of Wheelersburg, Connie (Dan) Kaltenbach of Grove City, Debra (Kurt) Thompson of Stout, Viki Ferguson of Wheelersburg and Shelli (Joe) Cottrell of Charlotte, N.C.; one brother, Marvin “Coke” Hay of Wellington, Fla., one sister, Thelma Cole of Wheelersburg, 10 grandchildren, Todd, Dana, Angela, Ashley, Adam, Andrew, Alex, Tyler, Gage and Joeli, and six great-grandchildren, Tanner, Shelby, Ayden, Noah, Alaina and Reese. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Tim Wright officiating.


Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant’s in Sciotoville from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to SOMC Hospice or Berean Baptist Church. To offer condolences visit www.brantfuneralservice.com.
