Robert McClaskey, 62


Robert M. McClaskey 62, of Sciotoville died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born Sept. 4, 1950, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Orville and Losa Lewis McClaskey. He was a former security guard and served in the U.S. Marines.


Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Smith McClaskey; a son, Robert M. McClaskey of Florida; a daughter, Christine McClaskey of Florida; two stepsons, John (Angel) Silvey of Wheelersburg and Tim (Mollie) Silvey of Reynoldsburg; one stepdaughter, Lisa Meyers of Wheelersburg; two sisters, Ethel Wright and Helen Dalton both of Kentucky; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Mosley, Charlotte Eichinger and Wanda Porter; three brothers, Orville, Albert and Pat McClaskey and two infant brothers. Services will be at noon Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON. Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans NE Cemetery with military graveside honors by James Flannery Post 276, American Legion. Visitation will be Sunday 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m. until noon at D.W. SWICK IN NEW BOSTON. Condolences to dwswickfuneralhome.com.
