Brooklyn Yeley’s three 3-pointers and Carrie Wynn’s six-of-six performance at the line were enough to keep Minford remained unbeaten and gave South Webster its first loss of the season in a 42-30 contest Monday night.


Both Yeley and Wynn finished with nine points to lead the Falcons. Kaci Messer had a game-high 10 points in the loss.


Minford returns home Thursday to face Northwest. The Jeeps are at Wheelersburg.

Sydney Holden’s 3-point play with under a minute left in regulation sent visiting Wheelersburg home with a 48-47 SOC II win over Valley.

Fay Proehl led all scorers with 16 points while Holden chipped in with 12 in the victory. The Indians were paced by McKenzie Coriell’s 13-point performance.

The Pirates host South Webster in Thursday’s action. Valley entertains West.

Tori Leader’s game-high 31 points helped host West earn its first win of the season in a 71-27 triumph over Waverly in Monday’s SOC II game.

Alex Ridout added 11 in the victory for the Senators. Bri Wiget paced the Tigers with nine.

West goes on the road Thursday to Valley. Waverly entertains Oak Hill.

Jen Arnzen was two assists and three steals shy of a quadruple-double as Notre Dame took care of host New Boston 70-28 in an SOC I contest Monday night.

The senior led all scorers with 27 points and pulled down 15 rebounds while Brooke Pierron added 20 points in the win. Kiersten McGraw led the Tigers with 11.

The Titans travel Wednesday to Ironton St. Joseph. New Boston travels Thursday to Western.

Giulia Elli led all scorers with 13 points in the loss. Madison Applegate, who collected 11 rebounds, was a point shy of a double-double for the Bobcats.

Green travels Thursday to Notre Dame. Symmes Valley hosts Eastern.

Brittany Mounts, Chandler Brown and Carson Roney each had 14 points in the victory for the Eagles. Lexie Gilliland had 19 points and Katie Redding finished with 10 rebounds and was a point shy of a double-double for the Panthers.

Clay returns home Thursday to welcome East. Eastern gets a visit from Symmes Valley.
