Men’s and women’s basketball are encouraging all fans to wear their white for the home opener this Thursday against the University of the Cumberlands.


This game will also serve as the conference opener for both squads. The women’s game will get started at 6 p.m. with the men following at 8 p.m.


Women’s basketball is currently ranked second in the country and is off to a 5-0 start in the early part of the season.


University of the Cumberlands is also unbeaten (4-0) and currently ranked 18th in the country.


Men’s basketball is coming into the home opener off a win against No. 23 Southern Oregon. The University of the Cumberlands men’s team is 5-0 and ranked No. 25 in the country.


The basketball action will continue on Saturday, Nov. 17 with a 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. doubleheader vs. Cumberland University.


The Bears will also be at home next Tuesday, Nov. 20 in a 6 p.m./8 p.m. doubleheader.
