As of Wednesday afternoon, roughly 1,800 voters had already cast ballots for the general election via early voting. Mason County Clerk Diana Cromley said early voting turnout has been high, not only in Mason County, but across the state. On the first day of early voting, a record in Mason County was set with 368 ballots cast - the previous record for early voting had been around 150 ballots. Early voting continues this week from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Nov. 1-2. Saturday, Nov. 3 is the last day of early voting when voters can cast their ballots from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the second floor of the Mason County Courthouse.
