In addition to students celebrating their school spirit, homecoming is also a time for alumni to visit and reminisce with old friends. Homecoming festivities for Wahama Junior/Senior High School will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27, with the homecoming parade beginning in New Haven and continuing through Hartford and Mason, and a bonfire following at the high school. At 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, the Wahama Football team will go head to head against Southern High School from Racine, Ohio, and during halftime the homecoming queen will be crowned. The festivities will come to a close with the homecoming dance 8-11 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the high school. Entries are also still being accepted for the parade. Contact the school for more information.
