Opha Baldridge, 83


Opha Baldridge, 83, of South Shore, Ky. died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at SOMC Hospice. She was born Sept. 14, 1929, in Limeville, Ky. a daughter of the late Loyal Stephens and Alice Smith Stephens.


She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Baldridge on April 29, 2001.


She was a homemaker and a member of the Siloam Missionary Baptist Church.


Surviving are a son, Randy (Goldie) Baldridge of South Shore, Ky.; three grandchildren, Trent Baldridge, Travis Starkey and Shane Starkey; three sisters, Mary French of Dayton, Ohio., Deane Veach of Sarasota, Fla. and June Vansickle of Dayton, Ohio.


She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Starkey, brothers; L.D., Andy, Clyde and William Stephens, and sisters; Eunice Hardin, Tiny May, Idabelle Hofacker, Mae Lewis and Gladys Stephens.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept., 24, 2012, at Morton Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky. with Gary Howell officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery in South Shore. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
