Meigs (2-9) rallied back from a 1-0 deficit against the Lady Raiders (4-7) to claim its first win of the season by a 22-25, 25-21, 25-20 margin, then rode that momentum into the final match of the night against SHS — which resulted in a 25-19, 25-10 triumph. The Lady Tornadoes (5-7) defeated RVHS in the opening match by a 25-17, 25-19 count.

Mercadies George led the MHS service attack against River Valley with five points, followed by Olivia Cremeans and Brook Andrus with four points apiece. Emily Kinnan led the net attack with 13 kills, followed by George with nine and Andrus with seven.
