Ruth Cremeans Sartin, 59


Ruth Ann Cremeans Sartin, 59, of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at her residence. She was a former resident of South Shore, Ky. She was born July 7, 1953, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Hershel Cremeans and Beulah Johnson Cremeans. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and a great grandmother and a sister and a friend to many.


Surviving are her husband, Gregory Scott Sartin of Clay City, Ky., one son and wife, Gregory Shane “Jessica” Sartin of Paris, Ky.;, two daughters, LeeAnn Dalton of Lexington, Ky. and Gina Dalton of Paris, Ky., two brothers, Ronald “Fay” Cremeans of St. Paul, Ky. and Steven Cremeans of Clay City, Ky. and two sisters, Norma “Wilbur” Smith of Vassar, Mich. and Brenda Gonzales of Clay City, Ky., eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.


Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with Brother, Clarence Hall, officiating. Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens Cemetery in South Portsmouth, Ky.


Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday.
