On Friday, a detective and a deputy responded to several locations throughout the county working on this investigation, which led them to a house on Woodland Avenue in Sciotoville, where the suspect — James Lewis of Sciotoville —was arrested while attempting to run out the back door.

Lewis was charged with one count of burglary, a felony of the second degree, and served a warrant for theft a misdemeanor of the first degree. Lewis is being held on a $11,000 bond and will appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Monday.
